Tale #Ec: Food.inc
Hello, Welcome Back.
I was shocked, upset, and disappointed because these major companies would prefer to expose people to harmful chemicals and degrade them in their jobs. I was upset because no matter what you consume, you are contributing to this toxic food process. Major companies have created such a polished system that many do not even know they're contributing to it. Sadly, I was not surprised by the images because these companies have created a "cheap system" that has changed the way we eat food. The disappointment came from seeing people trapped in this unpleasant environment.
I was disappointed to find out that this system is institutionalized to prevent change from happening. The relationship the government has with these businesses is not a surprise to me. The government protecting these businesses has become a result of them not being held accountable for the lives/protection of people. I'm angry that our government continues to promote this when there is evidence to prove that this is wrong.
I do not like the idea of my food being fake and, I would've never in my entire life would have known that the tomatoes that people eat are considered "notion" tomatoes. I knew corn was in products but, I was not aware that this product was, made on purpose. People are eating a chemical-based diet and, most people were not aware of it. Companies that continue to ignore the problems of that their food will continue the rise of illnesses. When we have conversations about industrialized food so, we can continue to educate and change this outlook.
The issues regarding food need to be changed and, consumers need to be aware of the dangers of eating this processed food. When companies don't care and can do something to change, it is scary, overwhelming, and alarming. The bacteria we have in foods is horrendous because processing meat with ammonia makes people sick. Tormenting farmers into not being able to clean their seeds is alarming. The entire facade of farming has created an egotistical way for companies to choose what is continuing to be used.
I hope you learned and enjoyed reading about the negative aspects of our food, until next time enjoy!

It is quite alarming. The big corporations have their hands in so many pots that it is almost impossible for people to get away from their "food" products. I find it interesting that these companies are allowed to advertise items as being healthy when the product is full of chemicals and by-products. The fact that the government enables them to continue on is even more terrifying, but it is all one big system. Fake food, money, health care, and the unsuspecting consumers all caught in the merry-go-round.
