Tale #6: We're dying...to paint our nails

Image
Hello Welcome Back,  When quarantine suddenly arrived the rise of "self care" began. Whether it was trying to find a way to cut your hair to finding the perfect technique to getting the perfect Manicure. When I finally began painting my nails I realized that I wasn't able to paint my nails without fumigating myself or being able to get rid of the terrible smell for what felt like forever.  It wasn't until I finished my favorite sparkly purple nail polish that I began to research for nail polish that wasn't as harsh. I found this website that goes in depth about the different  brands  of nail polish and the chemicals it doesn't have while providing you with links to websites where you can buy it.  While I was researching, I found this amazing nail company that has taken the initiative to create safe and friendly products. This amazing nail company is called  Kapa Nui N...

Tale #5: Beauty Blogger Gone Wrong?

Image
Hello, Welcome back.  The Advertisement that I decided to analyze was   Mayhem: Beauty Blogger . This advertisement is meant to be a satirical and comical warning about the inevitable moments that anyone can go through. This ad is supposed to make the audience feel assured that if they choose All-State Insurance that the company will have their back. This particular ad is supposed to have a one on one moment with the people watching at home by explaining that being glamorous and trying to show others how to be, can end up being one of the biggest mistakes of that person's life if they are not careful. The target audience is supposed to show parents that if their son or daughter ever tries to become a beauty blogger that they may forget to leave the straightener on or forget that it is still hot by placing it on a towel.      The context of the advertisement is that a "forgotten" heat source can be the most deadly thing that can happen to a person. Regardless of ...

I instantly fell in love with all of the aspects of caring for the biggest underdog, our planet. My only complaint about the class was that we were taught more about over-population, animal agriculture, and plastic water bottles. Altho...

Tale #3: I can't remember what it's called.

Hello, Welcome Back! As I began to open the cold, green, and hard metal container, I quickly realized that the packaging was harder to open than I had initially expected. When I opened the container, I heard a scratchy annoying sound and looked at a thin faded white piece of paper with black bold lettering that was "hugging" the tablets inside of the canister. After opening and examining the receptacle three to four small, round green cylinder-like capsules fell out of the case. While picking up the little round pellets, I noticed that they had a powdery texture to them as well as the sudden feeling like it was starting to dissolving in my hand. Now I usually do not eat these but when your mouth doesn't feel as refreshed and clean, one tends to decide that eating one of these will suffice until the next time you have to brush your teeth. When I finally placed it into my mouth, it began to burn my tongue but was unexpectedly satisfying and provided no disco...
